On Monday 9th March 2020, we are updating our member cancellation procedures. To cancel your Sonder & Beam membership you must now give a 30 day notice by completing a cancellation form. As usual please complete your cancellation form and your membership will be cancelled after 30 days. We will be in touch to find out more about your cancellation.
We really wanted to continue with the current cancellation process but as a small team delays will occur and to make it easier for all a 30 day cancellation process. We ask that when completing a cancellation form please be as thorough as you can giving further details to help us improve our community.
A reminder for event cancellation
As stated in our terms and conditions If You wish to cancel Your ticket, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at least 3 business days prior to the Event.
- Tickets for events are non refundable
- If you have not attended or failed to give sufficient notice for 3 Events within a 12 months period, Your Membership account will be frozen and a discretionary administration fee of £20 will be charged.
- Your Membership account will be fully reinstated with immediate effect on receipt of the administration fee described above.
If you are unsure if you will be able to attend please only book an event as close to the date as possible.
A lot of work goes into hosting and running each event by both the Sonder & Beam team members and speakers on the night. No-shows and last minute cancellation not only affects the event but also the morale of the team and the amazing speakers. We are a community aiming to support and empower women. As our speakers are fellow females and non-binary people we ask that each member is accountable in how they treat organisers and speakers.
